Out of the 20's

So when I started this diet back in July I was a size 22.  I am now officially a size 18!  I haven't been out of the 20's for 7 years!!!!!  Even though I once lost 40 lbs a few years ago....I only went down to a 20.  I'm confused how I can lose less weight and yet lose more inches.  Either way, I'm thrilled to be out of the evil 20's forever!

Oh my gosh, that's tremendous! I'm so proud of you, and so glad that you were willing to share this with the rest of us. Every time you go back to p2 you're gonna see the sizes go down more and more, too. I <3 you!

Aww, thanks friend!! I ♥ you too!
It's freaking humilating to tell people what I weigh and what size pants I wear....but on the other hand I think saying it out loud and admitting it is making me want to change that much more. Hiding in the dark obviously never did me any favors. ;)

Well nobody here is judging you. At my heaviest I was a size 16 once and I wasn't THAT big, so a size 18 isn't THAT big either. The national average is a size 14. Seriously, by the next round you will be at the national average. And weight numbers don't mean that much either. I've always been smaller than my weight would suggest (my sister in law wears a 14 like I do...or did at least WOOT...and she only weighed 160.) I've been pushing 180 to 185 for the last few years and people are usually shocked to hear how much I weigh. Just think, by next summer this will all be a thing of the past. I want to come to Cd'A so bad and go clothes shopping with you. I think it would be a total blast to clothes shop with somebody else who is also enjoying wearing sizes they never thought would be possible again.

That would be SOOO fun! Even if we didn't buy anything. Just trying on crazy fun clothes would be a blast. =)
