R2 VLCD #14

Down .2 lbs today.  I figured after my 1.8 lb loss yesterday that today would be pretty small.  I don't seem to lose big two days in a row.  Oh well.  So 39.2 lbs down now.  Inching closer to 40 lbs.  Lots of deep house cleaning to do today.  Then we're taking the kiddos to Chuck-E-Cheese's to play and then off to go buy a curtian rod.  Exciting day, huh?  =)

Curtain rods AND Chuck E. Cheese in the same day? Sometimes I feel like I need a seatbelt just to read the crazy ride that is your blog...lol.

Did you read my blog today? I feel like a mess. I can't ever make up my mind about what I'm going to do. I'm not too fond of round 2. Do you think that round 3 will show bigger losses if there's like a 2.5 month gap in between r2 and r3? If you say yes, then I'll be your best friend.

I had a seasoned HCG'er say that taking a nice LOOOONG break between rounds really helps speed up weight loss when you go back on P2. I think he's done like 5 rounds, so I trust his judgement. I know I know my blog is so exciting I can hardly stand it. LOL

I need to go read your blog.

ps i want carbs today in the worst way

I read your post on my blog, and I DO plan on finishing out this round all the way so my last VLCD will be next Saturday. I'm glad to see that you said that a big break between rounds might be helpful. Now I can be your best friend!!! Honestly, 8.something lbs isn't anything to be mad about, but it's also not worth the pain of being on p2 either. The only reason I was able to get through round 1 was because the losses were so good. This time I'm getting sick and tired of it, lol.

P.S. I want carbs too. I'm not even a huge carb fanatic, but if I don't get to eat a grilled cheese sandwich in the next 283 seconds, I'm going to blow up on somebody!!!

I'm with Cindy on this one, lol, I'm confused how long you go with each round and calorie intake for the next round.

Cindy and Jamie... You can either do a 6 week round or a 3 week round. Mia does 3 week rounds and Erica and I do 6 weeks.

I am very nervous to do another VLCD after reading your blog/comments today!! Yikes! I hope it will get easier for you ladies!

2 lbs in 2 days is nothing to be frowny faced about : ) Lol. That is awesome work Erica!!!

Exactly what Bre said. You can do a 3 week round or a 6 week round. Well actually as long as you do at least 3 weeks you could do a 4 or 5 week round if you needed to. If you're doing a 6 week round you take drops for a full 6 weeks (42 days) and you eat 500 calories for 6 weeks. Making a full 6 week round actually 44 days because you're of the loading days. After 42 days you stop taking drops but continue the 500 calorie diet for 2 days while the hcg is getting out of your system. Then you would start your phase 3, which you do for a minimum of 3 weeks. You up your calories to 1500 min. and eat lots of protein and healthy fats while staying away from sugars and starches. At this point you either start another round if you have more weight to lose OR you are at your goal weight and you slowly start to incorporate back in sugars and starches and maintain your new weight for life. I hope that makes sense.
